US Army carries out drills over Korean Peninsula

The US Army flew two B-1B bombers and carried out live-fire drills over the Korean Peninsula, Yonhap agency reported citing South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The bombers and two F-15K fighters carried out air-to-ground missile drills in waters off the east coast of South Korea and then repeated the drill in waters between the South and China.

According to the reports, the drill was a part of a regular exercise aimed at strengthening military defenses.
