New large explosion shakes Kabul - report

Another explosion has struck Afghanistan's capital city of Kabul on Sunday, according to a report published by local media Aamaj News on Sunday. Videos from the scene show a large black smoke rising above buildings in the area where the alleged blast took place.

The event comes less than a day after United States President Joe Biden warned intelligence claimed another attack in Kabul will happen within the next 36 hours. The last two deadly blasts which occurred earlier in the week killed almost 200 people, including 13 American soldiers.

Eyewitnesses shared in a separate Twitter post that the blast followed a rocket attack on a house in Kabul's residential area. At least two person died and three have been injured.
