Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov underlined on Thursday that he has "no doubt" the Kursk region in Russia will be liberated. The country's Ministry of Defense just reported that the Russian military regained control of settlements of Melovaya, Podol and Sudzha, all located in Kursk.
Speaking to journalists, Peskov mentioned that while the Russian army plans to fight as long as necessary, he believes the liberation will come "quite soon." He went on to comment on why Russian President Vladimir Putin wore a uniform during his visit to the area, stating that the head of state "considered this necessary."
Talking about sanctions, the Kremlin spokesman stated that Moscow has "adapted well" to them, with the country's economy "growing quite confidently."
