Billionaire entrepreneur and SpaceX and Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk took to social media platform X to announce that the entire Tesla team is investigating the Las Vegas Cybertruck explosion at Trump Tower, which local authorities hint may have been a terrorist attack.

"The whole Tesla senior team is investigating this matter right now. Will post more information as soon as we learn anything. We've never seen anything like this," Musk wrote on X.

Earlier today, a Tesla Cybertruck blew up outside of Trump's Las Vegas Hotel, killing the driver and leaving seven bystanders with minor injuries. The explosion appeared to come from under the vehicle, where high-voltage batteries are located, according to unverified videos posted on social media. As per ABC News, authorities have confirmed that the Cybertruck involved in the explosion was filled with "fireworks-style mortars."
