Capitol Police investigate suspicious vehicle near Congress

The US Capitol Police announced Thursday that officers responded to a suspicious vehicle report near Constitution Avenue and Third Street, NW.

"Our officers just responded to the area of Constitution Avenue and Third Street, NW, for a suspicious vehicle. Please avoid the area while we investigate," the police said on X.

Details about the vehicle or its contents have not yet been released. Capitol Police have not confirmed whether the incident poses any threat, but the report comes after the explosion of a Tesla Cybertruck outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas.
