Danish police said on Tuesday that its investigation confirmed that "powerful explosions" were the cause of the leaks on the Nord Stream pipelines and noted the blasts caused "extensive damage" to Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2.

The police noted it is still working on the case, but stressed it is still "too early to say anything about the framework under which the international cooperation with e.g. Sweden and Germany will run." Danish authorities also stressed that it is unclear when the investigation will be completed.

Meanwhile, the Kremlin once again slammed Western countries for conducting the probe into the incidents "secretly" without involving Moscow and alleged that the " investigation was set up inherently to put the blame on Russia."
