Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk announced on Saturday that ten humanitarian corridors were agreed upon.
Vereshchuk stated that the evacuation of civilians will be carried out from the regions most hit with military strikes: Donetsk region, Kiev region, and Lugansk region. "There will be no centralized evacuation of Mariupol residents today due to the blocking of buses at the checkpoints by [Russia]," asserted Vereshchuk adding that the civilians will have to leave the city in private cars.
The deputy prime minister further asserted that Russia is planning "the deportation of ethnic Armenians of Azerbaijanis and Meskhetian Turks from Kherson to the temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea."
