At least ten people have been killed in Israel's recent strikes on south Lebanon, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported on Thursday.
According to NNA, five members of a single family were killed in a raid on the city of Nabatiyeh, in which six other people were wounded. Meanwhile, a Syrian woman and her two children were killed in an attack on a house in Sawwaneh. Besides the eight civilians fatalities, Israel's actions also resulted in the deaths of two Hezbollah fighters.
On Wednesday, Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Herzi Halevi said that his country is getting ready for a "war in the north," referring to Lebanon, after Minister Without Portfolio Benny Gantz vowed a "strong response" to the Hezbollah's recent rocket attacks on Israel.
