A residential building's entrance collapsed in Belgorod on Sunday, after the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) intensively shelled the city, resulting in 13 casualties thus far, RIA Novosti reported.
The ten-story building suffered a direct hit from the AFU which destroyed the entrance to the building, with the roof and attic floor above the destroyed entrance collapsing an hour later, injuring three rescue workers. Emergency services recovered 13 bodies from the rubble so far, while the Belgorod region's governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced that 20 people died in the collapse, including two children.
The search and rescue operation has been interrupted several times due to the dangers of further missile attacks.
