Two people died after shots were fired at a Mercedes-Benz car plant in the German city of Sindelfingen near Stuttgart.
According to a report published by the German paper Bild on Thursday, factory employees reported the event to the police this morning. While the suspect in the shooting was arrested, other details of the incident are still unclear.
"A police operation is ongoing at Daimler's factory premises. Police and rescue workers are on duty ... One dead, one seriously injured, offender arrested. There is no longer any danger for the plant's workers," the Ludwigsburg Police Department shared in a series of Twitter posts.
