Security forces in China's Heilongjiang province announced they had placed three operatives linked with the United States National Security Agency (NSA) on the wanted list over an alleged cyberattack.

According to the Harbin public security bureau, the cyberattack targeted the Asian Winter Games in Harbin, Heilongjiang, in February this year and was aimed at disrupting the event.

The authorities also accused the NSA of attacks on critical infrastructure in the province, located in northeastern China, including defense and research facilities, as well as large multinational companies such as Huawei.
