34 arrested in Tel Aviv on Monday

Scuffles broke out between police and protesters in Tel Aviv on Monday leading to 34 arrests during the day.

According to local media, stun grenades were used by officers to disperse the crowd and most demonstrators at the main protest left for the night.

The protests broke out in response to the decision by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's controversial plans to overhaul the judiciary.
