An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 struck near Istanbul on Friday, just days after the region was rocked by a massive 6.2-magnitude quake and multiple aftershocks.
According to the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), the tremor's epicenter was registered about 19 kilometers southwest of Istanbul at a depth of 7 kilometers at 20:33 local time. The quake was followed by several smaller aftershocks.
Earlier this week, more than 150 people were reported injured after the 6.2-magnitude quake near Turkey's largest city.
