Pakistan carried out airstrikes on Afghanistan's Paktika province near the border with Pakistan, which killed 46 people and wounded another six, the Taliban government's spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid told AFP on Wednesday.
"Last night, Pakistan bombarded four points in the Barmal district of Paktika province. The total number of dead is 46, most of whom were children and women," Mujahid stated.
Earlier, the country's Defense Ministry called he Pakistani attack ""barbaric" and branded it a "clear aggression."
