5.2-magnitude earthquake hits Philippines

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded Thursday in Lapinigan, Philippines, according to a report from the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

The quake occurred at a depth of 58.6 kilometers and its epicenter was recorded 5 kilometers northeast of Lapinigan City in the Agusan del Sur region.

No casualties or material damage were initially reported following the earthquake.
