5.2-magnitude earthquake shakes Ecuador

EUROPEAN MEDITERRANEAN SEISMOLOGICAL CENTRE

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 hit Ecuador on Monday, European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.

The tremor's epicenter was registered 40 kilometers away from Cuenca, a city located in southern Ecuador, striking at a depth of 100 kilometers, according to EMSC.
