5.2-magnitude earthquake shakes Romania

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake occurred 57 kilometers east of the city of Brasov in eastern Romania at a depth of 137 kilometers, the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center reported on Monday.

The tremor was recorded at 5:40 pm CET and was felt in neighboring Moldova and Ukraine, according to local media reports.

There have been no reports of casualties or material damage so far.
