5.3-magnitude quake strikes Iran

An earthquake of a magnitude of 5.3 struck the southern part of Iran the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre's (EMSC) data revealed on Tuesday.

The quake hit at a depth of 10 kilometers, 112 km northwest of Bandar Abbas, with the epicenter in Fars province.

So far, no damage has been reported. Fars News Agency reported that three Red Cross teams have been sent to the scene to assess the potential damage.

5.2-magnitude quake strikes China
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 struck western Xizang on Tuesday, shaking the sparsely populated region near China's border with India.According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the quake occurred at 4:17 pm local time at a depth of 10 kilometers.
