6.2 magnitude earthquake hits Indonesia

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 shook the Talaud Islands Regency of North Sulawesi province in Indonesia on Tuesday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The quake had a depth of about 118 kilometres and occurred at 10:17 pm UTC. There has been no information on casualties or damage to buildings. No tsunami warning was issued.
