6.3-magnitude quake strikes off Mexican coast

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 struck off the coast of Mexico on Friday, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The quake's epicenter was registered 87 kilometers southwest of the city of El Palmarcito in the Chiapas state, at a depth of 35 kilometers.

There have been no immediate reports of potential damage or casualties yet.
