The Swiss Office of the Attorney General (OAG) is looking into whether Hamas received funding from Switzerland, AG Stefan Blaettler (pictured) told SRF radio on Saturday.
"The criminal investigation was opened a few weeks ago, shortly before the Hamas attack in Israel," Blaettler revealed. He added that the probe is being carried out in cooperation with the Federal Office of Police (Fedpol), refusing, however, to give more details.
Hamas has still not been legally labeled as a terrorist group in the country.
