AT&T Inc. announced on Wednesday that its revenue in the third trimester of fiscal 2024 came in at $30.2 billion, slightly lower than $30.4 billion registered in the same period in 2023.
In the reported quarter, net income landed at $0.1 billion, sliding compared to $3.8 billion recorded in the same timeframe a year prior. Diluted loss per share was at $0.03, as opposed to earnings per share of $0.48 seen in the same three-month period a year ago.
"We delivered another strong and consistent quarter, furthering our leadership in converged 5G and fiber connectivity. Despite severe weather and a work stoppage in the Southeast, this is our 19th straight quarter of adding more than 200,000 new AT&T Fiber customers," CEO John Stankey commented.
The company's shares tumbled 2.23% in the premarket following the report.
