Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said on Friday that Israel is "destroying the two-state solution" in the Middle East and claimed became "unequivocally clear" that it does not "believe in peace."
In his address to the United Nations General Assembly, Abbas accused Israel of ignoring legitimate resolutions of international organizations, such as the Oslo Accords, and noted that the "possibility of achieving peace" in the region "is unfortunately regressing."
"We do not accept to remain only party respecting agreements we signed with Israel in 1993," the Palestinian official insisted and added that those agreements are "not valid anymore" as a result of Israel's "persistent violations" of them.
