Billionaire investor Bill Ackman voiced strong support on Tuesday for United States President Donald Trump's tariff strategy but called for a short delay before implementation.
In a post on X, Ackman suggested a 30, 60, or 90-day pause before the tariffs take effect, arguing it would allow time for negotiations and prevent "major global economic disruption."
"If a country does not negotiate in good faith, then Donald Trump can bring the hammer down, but doing so without giving time to make deals creates unnecessary harm," he concluded.
