Adobe Inc. announced on Thursday that it will launch new artificial intelligence models for image generation for its app Firefly, which the company said will also be available for iOS and Android devices "soon."

In addition to the two new models, Firefly Image Model 4 and Firefly Image Model 4 Ultra, and making the Firefly Video Model generally available, Adobe also revealed that Firefly app users will be able to use models built by the company's partners, including Google and OpenAI. Adobe Creative Cloud's companion app, Adobe Express, will also receive some new AI-powered video tools, including a new Clip Maker and custom b-roll and background generation.

"With Firefly, we set out to transform creators' experience by bringing image, video, audio, and vector generation together in a one-stop shop for AI-assisted creativity," Adobe's President of Digital Media, David Wadhwani, said.
