Aid seekers killed again in Gaza

EPA/HAITHAM IMAD

At least eight Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured in northern Gaza on Saturday while waiting for the humanitarian aid near the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), medical sources and witnesses told Palestinian media.

Israeli forces have been repeatedly firing at Palestinians in the vicinity of aid centers, frequently leaving numerous casualties.

Meanwhile, the Hamas-run Health Ministry revealed that the number of people who died of hunger in Gaza reached 169, 93 of whom were children, as Israel blocked the entrance of humanitarian aid into the enclave for a long time, triggering global criticism and accusations of using starvation as a war weapon. Meanwhile, United States Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff claimed that there is no starvation, but a food shortage, after visiting Gaza.
