An air alert was issued on Saturday in several regions of Ukraine's east, warning about a potential threat to its residents, official data showed.

The alert was triggered in the regions of Dnepropetrovsk, and Kharkiv, as well as in the Kiev-controlled areas of Donetsk.

The sirens were canceled 33 minutes after being announced.
