The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) insisted on Saturday that the alarm that was set off throughout the central zones of the country was false.

"Alerts were activated about the intrusion of a hostile aircraft in several areas in the center of the country, the details are under investigation," the army tweeted.

The alarm could be heard around Tel Aviv, the Gulf area, the Western, Upper and Lower Galilee, Even Menachem, Gush Dan, and Shephelah.
