Amazon down for a large number of US users

Several US-based users reported widespread outages with Amazon on Wednesday, according to Downdetector.

Almost 10,000 users reported disruptions by 12:47 pm CET, of which 91% had problems checking out and the rest with the site's shopping cart and the mobile app.

The information from the website indicated that the social media was down for approximately 16,000 US users.The counter suggested that 53% of affected users reported issues with the app and 45% with the website.
