American Airlines back to operating

The United States Federal Aviation Administration revealed on Tuesday in a notice that the request for all American Airlines Group Inc. flights to be grounded was canceled, with the company going back to operating.

In a statement given to Baha Breaking News, the company said that the technology issue "impacted systems needed to release flights." "A vendor technology issue briefly affected flights this morning. That issue has been resolved and flights have resumed. We sincerely apologize to our customers for the inconvenience this morning. It’s all hands on deck as our team is working diligently to get customers where they need to go as quickly as possible," American Airlines commented.

Earlier, the airline announced it was experiencing a "technical issue" that affected its system, adding that its team was working to resolve the matter. Many flights were delayed.
