American Airlines grounds all flights amid system issues

The United States Federal Aviation Administration shared on Tuesday in a notice that American Airlines Group Inc. grounded all of its flights across the country.

The airline revealed in a post on X that it is having an issue with the system, adding that its team is currently trying to resolve it and "get things back on track."

With the holiday season in session, millions of people are expected to fly. The airline has yet to specify the source of the technical issue.
