Apple Inc. revealed on Monday, during its Worldwide Developers Conference, its latest software for iPhones, iOS 16. Company's senior vice president of software engineering Craig Federighi stated that this is the "biggest update ever to lockscreen, completely reimagining how it works."
The users will now be able to add widgets to the lockscreen, while the notifications will appear at the bottom of the screen. In addition, Apple's messaging app has been equipped with three new features. The users will now be able to edit iMessages, and unsend those that were sent by mistake, as well as snooze other iMessages.
Furthermore, the company revealed a new feature on Apple Pay, called Apple Pay Later, that will allow users to pay for their purchases in four installments without interest.
