Apple launches new MacBook Air with M3 chip

Apple Inc. revealed on Monday in a press release its new MacBook Air with the M3 chip. The new chip makes MacBook Air 60% faster than the model which uses an M1 chip.

Both 13- and 15-inch versions feature "thin and light design, up to 18 hours of battery life, a stunning Liquid Retina display, and new capabilities, including support for up to two external displays and up to 2x faster Wi-Fi than the previous generation," the tech giant detailed.

Orders can be placed starting today, "with availability beginning Friday, March 8," Apple noted. The company further mentioned that this version of MacBook Air represents "the world's best consumer laptop for AI [artificial intelligence]."
