Apple releases new iOS update to fix iPhone 15 overheating

Apple Inc. released new iOS 17.0.3 update for its devices, which is expected to fix the overheating issues affecting its latest iPhone 15 models, CNBC reported on Wednesday.

"This update provides important bug fixes, security updates, and addresses an issue that may cause iPhone to run warmer than expected," the software update reads.

Previously, the company stated that iPhone users might experience increased warmth due to background activity, "an iOS 17 bug," and third-party app overload.
