Apple workers vote for first unionized store - report

Apple store workers in Towson, Maryland voted on making a union, creating the first unionized Apple store in the United States, CNBC reported on Sunday.

The final count was 66 in favor and 33 against, with the voting to join the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers lasting from Thursday to Sunday.

“We did it, Towson! We won our union vote! Thanks to all who worked so hard and all who supported!” - the store members announced in a Twitter post.
