Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced on Sunday that he will visit Moscow later in the day and meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Russia is an essential part of the nuclear negotiations, and we coordinate positions with it," Araghchi said at a press conference in Istanbul after the United States targeted three nuclear facilities in his country. He added that the Iranian army is on "high alert" and promised there will be a response.
Previously, Araghchi stressed that Iran "reserves all options to defend its sovereignty, interest, and people." Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned that the US will face a "severe response."
