Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Saturday that the country's cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will resume, but in a new form.

"Our cooperation with the agency has not stopped, but will take on a new form," Araghchi said at a meeting with foreign representatives and diplomats in Tehran, adding that the IAEA's requests to inspect Iran's nuclear sites will be "reviewed on a case-by-case basis ... taking into account safety and security issues."

Iran previously suspended cooperation with the IAEA following the US's attacks on its nuclear sites, citing the agency's "double standards."
