The issue of leaked documents was not discussed during the meeting between United States President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, White House press secretary Karine Jean Pierre said on Thursday during the briefing in Dublin.

"We have US officials who are engaging with allies and partners at high levels," the press secretary stressed, adding that the investigation led by the Department of Justice is underway. Social media platforms have "responsibility" and should avoid "facilitating circulation of material detrimental to national security," Jean-Pierre undescored.

"The Department of Defense said they have taken steps to further restrict access to sensitive information. We are certainly reviewing the national security implications of the disclosure," she said, adding that Washington took the matter very "seriously" with regard its allies' security.
