Major stock indices in the Asia-Pacific region traded lower on Wednesday, as investors are more than ready for the decision of the monetary authorities in the United States later today. Also, traders of the region assessed Japan's balance trade whose deficit came at ¥695.3B in August.
Japan's Nikkei 225 traded flat at 7:06 am CET. In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite traded 0.36% lower while the Shenzhen Composite went 1.23% down at the same time. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 lost 0.13% a minute later. Hong Kong's Hang Seng and South Korea's Kospi did not trade due to a public holiday.
The dollar traded 0.74% lower against the yen at 7:05 am CET, selling for 141.3475.
