Major stock indexes in the Asia-Pacific region traded mixed on Tuesday, after a report published by the Bank of Japan (BoJ) showed that the country's producer price index (PPI) rose by 0.9% in April on a yearly basis.
Australia's S&P/ASX 200 lost 0.25% at 3:47 am CET. South Korea's Kospi Composite traded flat a minute later. Hong Kong's Hang Seng added 0.36% at 3:48 am CET, while, on the Chinese mainland, the Shanghai Composite and the Shenzhen Composite increased by 0.20% and 0.74%, respectively and Japan's Nikkei 225 was up by 0.07% at 3:50 am CET.
The dollar traded 0.13% higher against the yen, going for ¥156.4125 at 3:50 am CET.
