Major stock market indexes in the Asia-Pacific region traded mostly higher on Tuesday in anticipation of the Bank of Japan's (BoJ) latest monetary policy decision. They also seemingly reacted to the United States' apparent restraint from getting directly involved in the conflict between Israel and Iran.
Japan's Nikkei 225 rose by 0.63% or 240 points at 4:10 am CET as the dollar stood flat against the yen to sell for ¥144.83450. South Korea's Kospi increased by 0.82%. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 stood flat at 4:11 am CET.
In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite stood flat at 3:56 am CET. A minute later, the Shenzhen Composite grew by 0.26%. In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng stood flat at 4:12 am CET.
