In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite surged 2.07% at 7:09 am CET, while the Shenzhen Composite jumped 2.49% a minute later. At 7:11 am CET, South Korea’s Kospi Composite stood flat, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng skyrocketed 3.39% at the same time.
Australia's S&P/ASX 200 traded 0.38% higher at 7:11 am CET and Japan's Nikkei 225 lost 0.27% concurrently. The dollar was flat against the yen at 7:12 am CET, selling for 141.44100.
