Major stock indexes in the Asia-Pacific region traded mixed on Wednesday, as investors assessed United States President Donald Trump's remarks about tariffs on China and Europe.
Japan's Nikkei 225 jumped by 1.50% at 3:28 am CET, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell by 1.53% and South Korea's Kospi added 0.57%. In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite dropped by 0.98%, while the Shenzhen Composite went down by 1.34% at 3:29 am CET. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 added 0.42 at 3:30 am CET.
The dollar traded 0.12% higher against the yen at 3:31 am CET, selling for 155.70550.
