Major stock indexes in the Asia-Pacific region traded mixed on Monday after last week's rally, ahead of China's interest rate decision due Tuesday. Traders will also be assessing Japan's inflation data on Friday.
Australia's S&P/ASX 200 lost 0.06% at 4:17 am CET. South Korea's Kospi Composite was down by 0.33% a minute later. Hong Kong's Hang Seng increased by 1.32% at 4:18 am CET, while, on the Chinese mainland, the Shanghai Composite and the Shenzhen Composite increased by 0.69% and 0.56%, respectively and Japan's Nikkei 225 was down 0.09% at 4:19 am CET.
The dollar traded flat against the yen, going for ¥147.5765 at 4:20 am CET.
