Later in the week, Japan will be releasing its producer prices report, while China will be unveiling data on its retail sales and industrial production. The traders will also be looking at the United States consumer inflation.
In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite fell 0.14% at 7:09 am CET, while the Shenzhen Composite was flat a minute later. At 7:11 am CET, Hong Kong's Hang Seng dipped 0.22%, and South Korea's Kospi Composite declined 0.56% at the same time.
Australia's S&P/ASX 200 rose 0.14% at 7:12 am CET and Japan's Nikkei 225 advanced 0.76% concurrently. The dollar traded 0.12% above the yen at 7:13 am CET, selling for 146.75750.
