Asia-Pacific markets traded mostly higher on Tuesday, awaiting details of trade talks between China and the United States, which are set to continue for a second day.
Australia's S&P/ASX 200 added 0.74% at 4:20 am CET. South Korea's Kospi Composite advanced by 1.03% a minute later. Hong Kong's Hang Seng gained 0.36% at 4:21 am CET, while, on the Chinese mainland, the Shanghai Composite increased by 0.16%, while the Shenzhen Composite declined by 0.27%. Japan's Nikkei 225 was up 0.98%% at 4:23 am CET.
The dollar traded 0.39% higher against the yen, going for ¥145.1475 at 4:24 am CET.
