Major stock markets in Asia-Pacific rallied during the Friday session, as China's annual inflation in August came in at 2.5%, marking a 0.2 percentage point decrease from the month prior.
In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite rose 0.68% at 7:20 am CET, with the Shenzhen Composite surging 0.92% a minute later. At 7:22 am CET, Hong Kong's Hang Seng soared 2.42%, while South Korea's Kospi Composite was not trading today due to a national holiday.
At 7:23 am CET Japan's Nikkei 225 added 0.63%, while the Australian S&P 200 increased 0.62% simultaneously. The dollar tumbled 0.95% against the yen at 7:24 am CET, selling for 142.73900.
