Major stock indexes in Asia traded with losses on Thursday after the United States Federal Reserve stated the pace of interest rate hikes could decelerate depending on its impact on the economy. Meanwhile, Tencent published its first quarterly revenue drop since it went public in 2004.
The Nikkei 225 lost 0.82% at 4:35 am CET, as the Kospi Composite dropped 0.39% at 4:50 am CET, the S&P/ASX 200 declined by 0.29%, and Hang Seng fell by 0.62% at the same time. The Shanghai Composite was down 0.57% at 4:36 am CET, and the Shenzhen Composite decreased by 0.71% at 4:52 am CET.
The dollar traded 0.13% lower compared to the yen and sold for 134.873 at 4:52 am CET.
