Equities on Asian markets traded lower on Wednesday as investors kept their eyes on the release of the consumer confidence figure coming out of Japan.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng decreased by 0.69% at 3:54 am CET. On the Chinese mainland, the Shanghai Composite lost 0.44% at 4:55 am CET, with the Shenzhen Composite down by 1.04% a minute later.
Japan's Nikkei 225 trdaed flat at 3:35 am CET. At 3:57 am CET, the dollar traded 0.11% lower against the yen, going for 115.9960, as South Korea's Kospi Composite declined by 1.36% and the Australian S&P/ASX 200 by 0.20%.
