Major stock market indexes in Asia traded mostly higher on Wednesday with investors awaiting the Bank of Japan's monetary policy statement and interest rate decision.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng increased by 0.11% at 3:28 am CET, while on the Chinese mainland, the Shanghai Composite added 0.17% a minute later, as the Shenzhen Composite rose by 0.29%.
Japan's Nikkei 225 added 0.62% at 3:29 am CET, as the dollar went 0.26% up against the yen, going for 128.5175 at 3:30 am CET. At 3:31 am CET, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 stood flat and South Korea's Kospi Composite lost 0.86%.
